Description
The Saints and sages of India not only preached the elevation of human soul for a personal communion with all pervading spirit, but they were the harbingers of peace and were the greatest source of harmonious co-existence. Much above the parochial and sectarian approach, they endeavoured for universal affection with their message of love and tranquillity. They wrote poetry full of devotion and dedication which has become immortal in our sacred literature. They were neither Hindu nor Muslims and have left a universal imprint on the minds of the people in his creation. In a world full of bickerings, disparity, sub-castes, religions, and cross religions they proved to be remarkable synthesiser. They were responsible for bringing about communal harmony and emotional integration among the masses.
